We are much obliged for your support by helping us in bringing this work to this stage and carry it further. We continue with our children in Snehalaya educating and training them. From 5th to 10th March we celebrated Holi the festival of colours, but using only flowers making it environment friendly, not using any water to set an example for others. On 10th March Rang Panchami, concluding day of Holi festival, was celebrated as Sava Dharnm Milan Samaroh when leaders of various religions joined us in Snehalaya.
I am pleased to inform that on 15th May 2015, I was honoured by JCI Club of Gwalior recognising our ongoing work in Gwalior and received the award at the hands of Mayor of Gwalior Mr. Vivek Shejwalkar in presence of members of JCI and many dignitories of Gwalior. Though I received the award but real owners are our volunteers and supporters like you as well our staff and children in our school & Snehalaya. Our volunteers are working in Nepal and states of Bihar and UP providing medical care, counselling and helping in relief works following two devastaing earthquakes there. We have vowed to take as many orphan children and homeless adults esp. women as possible in our Snehalaya to give them new home and life with dignity with aim to rehabilitate and make them independent. Please consider donating for this work as much possible, here is the link to help us provide for earthquake victims and the orphans and the homeless thereof : http://www.globalgiving.org/projects/india-nepal-earthquake-relief-work-and-orphans/ I am sure of your continuing support and more helping us carry on with these works. Please do not hesitate to write to me at firstname.lastname@example.org for any questions or further information or if you may like to volunteer with us from your own place or with us on floor here. Please recommend us to all your friends, colleagues, associates and family members or any one interested in volunteering with us and help us by spreading the word. Thanks for your help in providing for disabled orphan children in Snehalaya at Gwalior. I will like to inform you with some recent activities in our "Snehalaya, meaning the Home with Love in Hindi".
Vasant Panchami celebrated in Snehalaya by doing Saraswati Pooja, Hawan, Yagya followed by feast including sweet yellow rice for our children and staff while sweet rice as prasad distributed to all attendees following Aarti.
Republic day celebrated in Snehalaya with flag hoisting at same time when Mr. Barrack Obama, President of USA did so in Delhi. There was thick fog around. We cancelled all cultural programmes in honour of Sr. Meenoo, a resident in Snehalaya since 2008, who unfortunately left us on the day after a long stay in hospital. Shradhanjali and tributes paid to her in stead.
Also fifteen of us participated in Mumbai Marathon on 18th Jan.2015 raising nearly twelve laks for children of Snehalaya and to educate girls from surrounding villages there. Thank you all supporters, donors and fellow runners.
Christmas celebrations followed by New Years gala dinner enjoyed by our children in Usha Kiran Palace Hotel, only five star hotel in Gwalior, annual event for our children. This year winters have been very cold comparatively but now it is getting over.
We are much obliged of your support helping us to provide for these 62 children there. Please consider to sponsor one by regular payment of just $50PM, which will provide food, home, clothes, education, medicines and training to a disabled orphan child there as well will help us to plan the outlay for future. Also please spread the word and recommend to all your friends, associates, colleagues and relatives. Please do not hesitate to write to me for any questions or further information on email@example.com
Thanks again, with regards and best wishes,

Dear friends of children in Snehalaya,
We are much obliged for your support helping us to provide for children in Snehalaya and carry it further. On 23rd Aug. 2014, Snehalaya has completed 8 years and we enter into 9th year now. On 23rd Aug. we celebrated its foundation day with hoisting of National flags and singing the national anthem of 14 countries from where volunteers have worked in Snehalaya. Dr. Bhagirath Prasad, The Member of Parliament was the Chief Guest and Dr. Gita Narahari, First lady of Gwalior was Guest of Honour. We have laid the foundation stone for the Multi-Purpose Hall and hope it will be ready for use within this year for daily needs of our children here. Cultural programme with songs, dances continued for almost three years as part of the celebrations followed by prize distribution to the children having won in annual sports and cultural competitions held on 22nd Aug. attended by nearly 500 children from various institutions including our children.
Though much has been done but much more remains to be done. We depend upon you only and hope for your continued support and more helping us to provide for these children and take more children from Streets of India. Only 38 children have been sponsored so far and we request you to consider sponsoring a child with just $ 40PM or whatever you may prefer. Please never hesitate to call me or write to me at firstname.lastname@example.org for any questions or further information.
We need and welcome volunteers from all walks of life to work with us on floor or from their own place. Please spread the word among every one known to you or whomsoever you come in contact with. Thanks a lot, with regards and best wishes,
