This project provides scholarship education for underprivileged children in Gbawe, Ghana and seeks to create a learning center for children in the community.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
The foundation is responding to educational needs for underprivileged children at Gbawe community and in rural areas of Ghana. Currently it is giving scholarship for four kids and with intention to extend it to eight children in Gbawe community. The project is seeking for help to acquire a plot of land to provide a scholarship learning centre to accommodate the children we are sponsoring and other orphans and underprivileged children to receive quality education.
How will this project solve this problem?
The foundation is working to acquire a plot of land for an educational learning center for orphans and underprivileged children. Additionally we are working on a scholarship fund for these children. The educational center will will create an enabling environment in which all children up to 15 years can develop their full potential. The project includes a boarding house facility, recreational facilities, and good moral training so that all students will become well equipped for life.
Potential Long Term Impact
The project strives to provide quality education for the children in needs, to improve their health and social conditions, attitude changes and increased self-esteem, an increased sense of belonging within the communities.
