Over 4 million people are affected by food poverty in the UK yet millions of tonnes of perfectly edible food go to waste each year. At FoodCycle we think this is ridiculous - and we're doing something about it. We run 16 community projects across the UK where we combine surplus food and the energy of our volunteers to create tasty nutritious three-course meals for people at risk from food poverty and social isolation. We've served 35,000 meals so far - now it's time for YOU to help out!

Every day across the UK, perfectly edible food is being thrown away when it could be going to people who need it. At FoodCycle, we're doing something about this. Our volunteers reclaim surplus food from local supermarkets and cook it into tasty, nutritious meals. These are served to the local community; bringing people together to enjoy a healthy three-course meal. We run 14 projects across the UK, serving food to people affected by food poverty and social isolation.
