Save 250 Households in Uganda from Gut Perforation

Health

Gut perforation disease is an easily preventable disease caused by drinking unsafe and contaminated water. It is claiming lives and affecting many households and communities. In a week, between 2 and 3 persons are operated on in Kasese district alone as a result of gut perforation disease, placing great financial burden on the victims. Our project will save lives by providing 500 households with "Solvatten", a Solar powered water purifier that provides safe drinking water and also hot water!
