Pakistan Rural Schools Program

Since the devastating earthquake in Pakistan in 2005, Relief International has worked to empower at-risk youth through education. In the Pakistan Rural Schools Program, RI teamed up with UNICEF and other Pakistani NGO's to build 36 earthquake-safe schools in damaged areas of the country. The children that attend these schools come from villages of extreme poverty with limited resources and broken families and receive not only a safe place to spend time but also the gift of education
