Work skills for 100 victims of injustice in Uganda
Uganda, Women and Girls
This project restores and empowers victims of injustices such as war, school dropout, forced marriage, rape/defilement and domestic violence. We provide them with free training in professions such as hairdressing, horticulture and nursery school education so that they can create their own income and lead free economically independent lives. There are many children in Kenya living in extreme vulnerability. Many have dropped out of school due to poverty, unwanted pregnancies and sexual and gender-based violence. Those who have dropped out of school - especially girls - are vulnerable to child prostitution, forced early marriages, child labor, child trafficking and HIV new infections.
