STAFFSharath Jeevan - Chief ExecutiveSharath is GlobalGiving UK’s founder and CEO leading the strategy and vision of charity. Sharath has over a decade of experience of leading social innovation across the non-profit, private and public sectors, both in the UK and overseas. He previously headed up eBay's charity division in the UK, which he grew from concept to £5m funds raised in its first two years. Sharath was previously at International NGO ActionAid and Project Leader at Strategy Consultants Booz & Company. He also served as Managing Director of ContactDetails.com, an entrepreneurial internet company, in Asia. In May 2008 Sharath was recognized as "one of the 50 most influential people in UK fundraising", by Professional Fundraising Magazine. Sharath holds a First Class Economics Degree from Cambridge University, an MSt from Oxford University, and an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD.
Rachel Smith - Head of ProgrammesRachel helped co-found GlobalGiving UK and now heads up the day to day operations and programmes. Before joining GlobalGiving.co.uk, Rachel worked in marketing in the retail sector, and for local government. She holds a MA from Cardiff University in Archaeology and worked as a freelance research archaeologist specialising in later prehistoric Britain. She has been involved in the voluntary sector, particularly fundraising, from a very young age – she organised her first fundraising event (a local coffee morning) aged 7!
Paul McWilliams – Partnerships ManagerPaul McWilliams manages GlobalGiving UK’s corporate partnerships and interactions. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Stirling and a Master’s in African Studies from the University of Oxford. Paul has also worked at various levels in the airline industry and, before joining GlobalGiving’s UK team in March 2011, worked in Project Operations at the ARCHIVE Institute.
Zdravka Mihaljevic - Project and Donor EngagementZdravka manages GlobalGiving.co.uk's project leader support and engagement, and helps donors give to projects. Zdravka holds a Bachelor degree in English and Italian language and literature from University of Zagreb, Croatia and has over 3 years of experience working as a foreign languages teacher. She also holds a Master's degree in European Studies from King's College London and is passionate about education, human rights and international development.
Jenni Tomlin – Project EngagementJenni manages new project leader relations for GlobalGiving UK. She helps to deliver a quality service for project partner organisation, particularly focused on learning and support and helping new organisations get on the website. She is also building relationships with community-based charities working in the UK. Before working at GlobalGiving UK, Jenni managed an urban community programme in the East End of London and has a degree in Theology from the University of Oxford.
Seth Reynolds – Learning and Support ManagerSeth manages GlobalGiving UK’s learning and support programme for partner NGOs. After graduating with a First in Broadcasting and Politics from Leeds University, Seth worked for 6 years in TV news and documentary production before sidestepping into the non-profit sector as a fundraiser and capacity builder with London youth and community organisations. Seth worked for several years in Latin America, creating and delivering a training and capacity building project in Guatemala for small grassroots NGOs and community organisations, co-founding a “Hub” (shared space and community for social ventures) in Oaxaca, Mexico.
Simran Daryanani – NGO Attraction and Learning and SupportSimran is responsible for NGO attraction and assists on the delivery of the learning and support programme. Prior to joining GlobalGiving UK, Simran volunteered in Mumbai for 6 months with an NGO as an Organisational Development consultant. She graduated from Kingston University in 2009 with a degree in BA International Business.
Aida Kerdoudi – Accounts and DisbursementsAida manages GlobalGiving.co.uk's overall accounts and finances. She is responsible for disbursement of funds raised through GlobalGiving.co.uk for project partners.
