The Branch Foundation (TBF) is looking to develop new partnerships throughout South-East Asia! Since 2007, TBF has supported numerous projects thought the region. Given the success of these funded projects and the organization's positive track-record, TBF is looking to expand its regional scope and launch projects in different areas. In order to make this possible, TBF needs funding for research into new South-East Asian marginalized communities and organizational capacity building.
We aim to reach out to South-East Asian communities often overlooked in the world of development assistance. We have funded many successful projects in various communities, but we recognize that there are other communities that could benefit from our support. In order to launch new sustainable projects, we need to access and effectively communicate with grassroots communities. This way we can conduct research into new projects whilst building upon the skill set of the organization.
The Branch Foundation has established relationships with several local communities, working with them to establish sustainable solutions in education, enterprise development and renewable energy. With this project, our staff will perform needs assessment research in South-East Asian communities and complete Thai language classes in order to more effectively communicate with local populations. This will contribute to a more hands-on, involved approach by eliminating the need for translators.
Through research and capacity building, we will be able to expand our scope of working in partnership with marginalized people and provide the tools necessary for them to be on the path of self-reliance. By understanding the needs of local communities throughout South-East Asia, The Branch Foundation will be better placed to continue to implement long-term sustainable projects. This will not only benefit the members of the communities themselves but also their children for generations to come.
